Antenor Vilceus, MD
Dr. Antenor P. Vilceus is Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Neurology as well as in Vascular Neurology. He completed his internship in medicine at Brookdale Hospital Medical Center in Brooklyn and a residency in Neurology at State University Health Science Center in Brooklyn, NY. He then went on to purse a fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology at State University Health Science Center in Brooklyn. Dr. Vilceus earned a Bachelor of Arts from Columbia College of Columbia University, his medical degree at Drexel University College of Medicine. In 2011, Dr. Vilceus earned his MBA with high Distinction in Quality Management from Hofstra University. Before joining Winthrop Faculty Neurology Practice as a Neurohospitalist, Dr. Vilceus was in private practice for 19 years and for nearly 2 years, was the only neurologist caring for the returning soldiers from Afghanistan suffering from Traumatic Brain Injury and Posttraumatic stress disorder at Fort Drum, NY. He is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and American Medical Informatics Association (AMIA).
