Dr. Muralidharan joined the Department of Neuroscience at Winthrop-University Hospital in August 2013 as a full time Neurointensivist and is board certified in both Neurology and Neurocritical Care.
She received her fellowship training in Neurocritical Care at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Prior to her fellowship, she completed her Residency in Neurology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
Her research interests include traumatic brain injury and subarachnoid hemorrhage. She has authored several publications in peer reviewed journals, has presented posters/presentations at various meetings, has authored book chapters, and has been the recipient of the several awards including the American Academy of Neurology Resident Scholarship award and American Academy of Neurology Fellow Scholarship award. She is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, and Neurocritical Care Society.
Dr. Rajanandini received her appointment to Assistant Professor of Clinical Neurology in the Department of Neurology in the School of Medicine at the State University of New York at Stony Brook effective February 2014.
